Reduncery calculates how badly people misbehave in their use of retweets, as measured by the amount they retweet, and how much they force their followers to see duplicate retweets (by retweeting things their followers have already seen.)

Because excessive retweeting ruins it for everyone.

How

The exact formula for determining a person's reduncery is confidential. However the general gist is that the more you retweet, the more of a redunce you are. If you retweet things that your followers already saw (because the also follow the original tweeter) then that just makes things worse for you.
